The Barber Shop fading away!

The Barber Shop days of yesterday seem to be fading away.  I have traveled the country over the years and always found the local Barber Shop my resource information both.  You don’t need some government office, just go to your local Barber shop and get all the information you need about any given subject.  Now you may get a little confused because of the abundance information you receive.  You know how it sounds when five people tell you a different version of the same story.

WATER ON THE BRAIN
I’m not the smartest consumer in the world, but the other day when I was scanning the label on my bottled water to make sure there were no carbs in it, I saw something strange. “Best if drunk by December 31, 2008.” Well, that’s New Year’s Eve, and I am at my best if I’m drunk before the year changes, but I don’t think that’s what they mean.

“Now is the time”
Of Angels and Roses
By Elizabeth Madison Shafer

“Now is the time” …the Walrus said….. “ to speak of many things”
This may sound just a little bit strange…….but just bear with me and I think we will eventually end up at the same destination. You see, there are really four people living in this home of ours at Hope’s Way……the young and the old.
Rick my husband, and the little boy in him that I sometimes see,
the shy little girl still living in me….. and the silver haired woman that I have grown up to be. It’s a quaint combination….. the young and the old…and yet perhaps the most truthful story I ever have told.
